Stephen Williams was born in Bangor but raised in Blaenau Ffestiniog. His first language is Welsh. He returned to the town of his birth in 1998, where he achieved his honours degree in Psychology. His interest in human behaviour led him to work as part of the Mental Health Team with Conwy Social Services for several years.
His prior career which spanned for almost 20 years, entailed working with a local artist, crafting and installing public art across the UK.

Stephen is an experienced guardsman with up to date training and holds a valid SIA approved license, to carry out his duties as a freelance Security Guard. He is proud to be involved in protecting premises, people and their property and has worked in the public and private sectors with various local security companies. He believes in providing good customer service whilst adhering to company policies.

Stephen was a volunteer with the South Snowdonia Mountain Rescue Team for 10 years and became one of the team managers. His hobbies include mountaineering, walking and learning to play the harmonica. He has already walked 300 miles along the Welsh Coastal Path and hopes to complete walking around the whole country by 2020.
